I liked the espionage aspect of this second entry and I like the romance between Isabel and the Rogue, but I wanted a little more from both of those things. The payoff of one was a little lackluster and the other was abrupt. But the historical aspects are very cool, I enjoy this world and time. And Isabel was a good leading lady, I liked her a lot! And of course the cover of this one is gorgeous as well, that was one of the things that caught me for the first book :)
