radiojen 's review for:
I've Got You Under My Skin
by Mary Higgins Clark
It's been a while, but I've read other MHC books and I thought I enjoyed her writing. Not this one though. It was awful!
There were far too many coincidences & the author kept repeating the facts every so many pages. I don't know if she thinks her readers have short memories or what, but it was a little too much.
The biggest issue for me, though, was the way the TV series was written. I mean, really? A producer wants to recreate a murder scene having the 'suspects' dress in the same gowns they wore 20 years prior? Seems a bit psychologically damaging. What TV executive will ok that? And the other TV stuff was equally unbelievable. If you have any idea how TV works, do not read this book. It will hurt your soul.
