Let me say this upfront, I don't care for big crossover events in comics. There are too many characters, many of whom I only have a passing knowledge of. For example, S.H.A.D.E. and the scary little girl working with CADMUS.
In Future's End, the plot barely moved because there were too many characters going in too many different directions and Terry was barely in it. Why does Batman Beyond take up most of the cover if he is only in it in passing?
Overall, this volume adds to the New 52's unimpressive run.
