This book was far too short for what it was.
3 stars because I wasn't bored, despite the fact this is my least favorite, I devoured it like the rest of the series.
This book didn't have a lot of tension in it as the past books. I wanted there to be more Cardan, more scheming, more tension overall. I'm glad in the end everything worked out, but I felt like this book could have made that felt more earned.
