I had a wonderful time reading this one, as I do with all of Maren's books. They are always filled with moments that make me swoon and feel deeply for the characters. Saint and Lennon's story is no exception.
The banter and teasing between them were truly fantastic. I loved how they play into tension and frustration while still having more lighthearted moments. They complemented each other perfectly.
Seeing them work together to take down some shitty dads was fantastic. You can see a lot more of Maren in this book, and its rawness was refreshing. I felt a connection to Lennon on a deeper level than I typically do with MCs. As such, do keep in mind the trigger warnings for this book, as they are very relevant.
This book does contain a good bit of open-door spice. If that is not your thing, I suggest skipping this book (and any of Maren's).
