The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith

Did not finish book.
Only books died in Hell. Everyone else had to live with their choices.

I'm so sorry. I wanted to love you but I can't. I could not stand it anymore. DNF @50%.

The things that I like

The premise. The fate of the world in the hands of a librarian? A muse and a demon on her side? The angels fighting against them? Yes, please!

The writing. It's light with just the right amount of details needed to create a clear picture of everyone and the surroundings. It's very immersive.

The short quotes at the beginning of the chapters. The quotes are just every literary's dream, heart, and soul. I love it so much. I might even just read the beginnings of the chapters just so I could feel some warmth lol.

The things that I DID NOT like

THE PACE. Good god, somebody save me. The short chapters were great, but I think this could have been edited better so it would be shorter and we could spend less time talking and idling and more on the adventures.
