Not a huge fan of this novel's premise: kidnapped by pirates after accidently exploring a smuggler's cove, have to travel to Portugal, fall in love with the ship captain who turns out to be an agent of the crown and family friend, and escape murderous gangs on the docks of Lisbon. Seemed too much like a telenovela.

But JQ created an amazing banter between Poppy and Andrew, sexual tension, and a perfect ending!
