Doctor Who: The Glamour Chase by Gary Russell
5.0
I really enjoy the [a:Gary Russell|60|Gary Russell|http://www.goodreads.com/images/nophoto/nophoto-M-50x66.jpg] novelizations of Doctor Who & Torchwood. They're some of the best I've read and this one is possibly one of my favorites out of all that I've read. The monsters (both species) were interesting and original. The Weave were a bit confusing at first, especially when they kept going into their ship and then coming out or absorbing something into their body. But I like how the suspense of the monster was saved until the middle of the book when you found out exactly what they were. It was an interesting story and I really liked how there was actually more focus on Rory & The Doctors relationship rather than Amy & The Doctors. Plus we find out how much Amy loves Rory in this (which is great since this takes place right before they're tragically torn apart for the time being.) I did get a little confused when Old John's past came out, and I had to read the part over to find out who the author was speaking of, but that twist was a nice one.
