This book had the same sort of feel as a warm, lazy summer. It was nostalgic despite the fact that it clearly takes place now and I've never attended boarding school. Over all, the lazy pace of the book made me slow down and take it in, but I enjoyed it very much. It could have ended terribly sadly, but the author took the time to do an epilogue that left the story with some hope, closure and a sense of rightness.
