I’ll start by saying that I never thought I would actually like this book. I only picked it up bc I just told myself I had to read it so I wouldn’t buy a new book but it was a pleasant surprise.
I thought I wouldn’t like it bc I have read normal people and it left me feeling very frustrated and I really believed that it would be the same.
Fortunately that didn’t happen and I mostly enjoyed the book.
I do have a few things to say. Firts of all I would have enjoyed the book a lot more without the long ass emails that talk about the collapse of our society? I don’t understand the point? It would have made the book easier to read and shorter so overall it would have made the book better.
I wasn’t too bothered by the lack of quotation marks since I already read normal people and I really liked the ending. It was just sweet and what I wanted so I thoroughly enjoyed that.
The one thing I actually fucking hated though was Felix. There were so many times when I just wanted to throw my book across the room because of him. He’s an absolute fuckiny idiot and I hated everything about him and Alice should leave that mf. Truly hated him.
I will end this review with something that Simon said “If god wanted me to give you up, he wouldn’t have made me who I am.”
