This was a cute read. Nate is a playboy divorce attorney who doesn’t believe in love and marriage. Emme is forever looking for her HEA. They are neighbors and friends and have never crossed the line (though both find the other attractive, they haven’t acted on it). When a baby is suddenly dropped off on Nate’s doorstep with a note that she’s his, he begins to spiral but Emme quickly helps him realize that even though this wasn’t his plan, he can do this. Nate had a lot of past trauma that he never truly faced and that caused some issues when they started dating. I did really like his grovel when he realized he fucked up.
