This was genuinely so cute. And wholesome.
It was a really well crafted graphic novel, and had a fully fleshed-out and satisfying plot with some AMAZING characters. I liked the exploration of the many different relationships people have in their lives, and also the inclusion of magic! Snap and Jacks had the absolute best freindship; like, the grumpy old mentor and the overly enthusiastic young student... so good, gave the best vibes.
ALSO WE STAN AN ACCEPTING AND OPEN-MINDED MOTHER.
There was some really good diversity in this, including a trans poc (Lulu is adorable), an f/f romance (and they're both OLD, like it's not just two youngins), and a single mother who is working AND studying.
