Oh wow this really brought me back to high school! I bet a lot of us have been with a Laura Dean, especially when we were younger. That kind of dramatic roller coaster love where when you’re together, everything is perfect and your heart is so full. But then when you’re apart, everything’s confusing and sucky and your communication is basically zero. The kind of relationship that is so consuming, you start neglecting other things that matter, like your friends. I’d totally recommend this to anyone wrestling with a breakup; it really speaks to the heart of the matter. I loveddd the black, white, and pink coloring, and I appreciated how detailed the artwork was. There were some fun visual storytelling elements that were quite additive to the text.
