Very, very slow burn. I don’t know if I’m at the right state of mind to have read this book, because I didn’t get much out of it. I’m not religious and don’t have much knowledge on “English Culture” especially of that time. This is a book that doesn’t really have an end. I was expecting a reunion at the end and that sure as hell didn’t happen…
