This book got me out of a book slump and I am forever grateful for Danielle Allen and her words.
My heart was going through all the motions. The love, the heartache, the tension—just EVERYTHING.
It’s no surprise, but Zoe is a strong heroine that is absolutely everything you want to be. She is strong, independent, stands in her truth, sticks up for what’s right, but also has that fear of showing vulnerability or being vulnerable. I felt that in my soul. Danielle writes some of the best heroines I’ve ever read.
She also writes some of the best heroes. Julian was everything. The things he would say, the way he would make Zoe feel, and the passion he showed was just so *chefs kiss*
This was a fun and beautiful read. 10000000/10 recommend
