loved that throws pronouns changed half way through the book. The way Theo came out bugged me but in an unfair way because I’ve actually been there but they say that non-binary is the best word but it’s not quite right cause all they know is they aren’t a woman. But that’s kinda treating non-binary like it’s another gender rather than an umbrella of possibilities that just aren’t man or woman. And also, the world treats it that way and so it’s r really easy (esp when you’re in those early days of coming to terms with it and navigating feeling valid) that it’s pretty normal honestly.
I didn’t love how rich everyone was. Really really didn’t love that. But I enjoyed the romance of it a lot and I thought the narrators were both great. The one for kit was especially perfect and I think that improved my relationship to the book a lot.
