I saw the anime before reading this edition of the manga, and I have to say all around it’s an average read for the series, especially knowing what JJK is capable of down the line.
That being said! It was a structural part of the manga, and a necessary volume despite not being all that interesting. It introduces a number of main-stay characters, fleshes out the world more, and establishes villains.
