If I’m being honest, I think the series went one book too long. I feel like books 3 and 4 could have easily been whittled down individually and combined, cuz the drama seemed to drag on and on. However, I don’t usually like endings with all the answers and I feel like this one did a great job of keeping some mystery, some ambiguity so that I could imagine my own ending. I dug that most of all. Oh, and don’t ask me why, but I really loved the uncle to stepdad plot line. And the revelations about actual absent dad. Nicely done.
