The Wind Knows My Name: A Novel by Isabel Allende
3.0
Not my favorite Allende. Gorgeous prose (as to be expected), solid character development, a time- and continent-spanning plot. Extremely topical, but tries to do a bit too much; I’d rather the novel have focused either just on Kindertransport or on undocumented immigration, but this is still worth reading.
