I could read a hundred books about Viv acclimating to a little homey life. But I also really want to read about her mercenary adventures. This book had a lot more action than Legends & Lattes and you do get to see a bit of that side of Viv which I loved and it made me want to read more about them tbh. I'd honestly love it if Viv had her own epic fantasy series lmao. Having said that this was very sweet.
I do love the cozy fantasy vibe and I loved reading Viv and her tiny lady pals chilling around a bookshop. Loved Satchel the homunculus and Potroast the gryphet. Thought Varine was a cool villain. The epilogue made me VERY happy. Overall a very cute, fast read.
Also, since playing BG3, I just keep hearing Viv's voice as Karlach's...which I'm not upset about.
