Quantum Mechanics: The Theoretical Minimum by Art Friedman, Leonard Susskind

I read bits and pieces whenever I had the time as I was studying Quantum Mechanics at university. It certainly helped me to have a better, perhaps more intuitive view (if we could ever say such things about quantum mechanics) of the field.

It's not an easy or relaxing read by any means but certainly worth it by the end. And given the subject matter I though the authors did a great job explaining it as clearly as possible.
