Another great addition to the FBI Profiler series! I really like Quincy and Rainie's dynamic, so I was very happy to see Rainie back for this book.
The suspense in this one was done so well. I couldn't put it down! I was at a loss for whodunit until it was revealed. I felt like I had an inkling of who may have had a hand in the killings (I was right), but I couldn't figure out who the actual perpetrator was. Regardless, my mind was blown and I am convinced that Lisa Gardner is an actual genius.
I love how this series is turning into a story about Pierce Quincy's life and family. I can't wait to see how his daughter Kimberly evolves over the remaining books. I'm also very interested in Rainie Connor's future character development.
If you enjoy police procedurals and suspense novels, this is definitely a series you need to try! Our main characters are volatile, but that's what makes the story so interesting. You never know if their hot headedness is going to blow up in their face or not. I personally love that.
