If you are looking for a sweet, clean romance to lift your spirits, look no further. This is part of a series of “Love inspired inspirational romances”, but they are all stand-alone titles.
An Unlikely Alliance features Jalissa Tucker, a woman with severe anxiety, and her service dog Flo. Jalissa works at the town animal shelter and finds out that her program, along with the teen SAFE program are going to be cut from the town’s budget due to lack of funding unless she and her arch nemesis, Jeremy Rider, can figure out a way to fundraise the needed money. The death of Jalissa’s father when she was younger and the abandonment by Jeremy’s father have led to some issues for both that are keeping them from letting others in to their lives. Maybe the fundraiser can mend some past wounds and bring these two together.
