4:50 from Paddington by Agatha Christie

Miss Marple is brilliant. I so enjoy the appreciation she receives from Scotland Yard, and indeed she is officially made part of the case. The clever and attractive character of Lucy is introduced as Miss Marple’s amateur apprentice assigned to “find the body!” This is a tidy mystery with a dramatic tableau at the end to finish.
My copy of this book was titled, “What Mrs. McGillicuddy Saw!”
