I loved this book so much. I love the unique scifi/fantasy plot about the doors. I love the way Harrow writes, little things like pointing out how a letter resonates with the word or meaning of a sentence. I mainly enjoy her characters, quirky but not to a fault. Sometimes authors make characters so weird that you can't help but roll your eyes at them. But I love the way they are and how they intermingle with the other characters and their stories. I also enjoyed the many worlds, imagery, and historical references/ turn period accuracies.
