a classic is a classic and there's reason for it…although This Side of Paradise isn't Fitzgerald's greatest book when a book is free you can bet i'll download it… I wasn't putting too much faith in this book possibly because I never put faith in any classic book, but I confess that little by little the book interested me. emory, like every good protagonist, is a rich fuck who realizes that the 20s came to fuck with everyone regardless of financial status. 

He spends the entire book complaining about poverty, women, and war and honestly thats so relatable of him.
