I loved every minute of this book from start to finish! Literally less than 50 pages in I was already obsessed with the storyline and the characters. This was the perfect mix of Divergent, Game of Thrones, and a sprinkle of Harry Potter.
I absolutely loved the dragons’ personalities. The mated bonds, the dragon rider pairs, Violence and Xaden being bonded in a special way because of their dragons! Everything was just perfect. Dain really pissed me off and I can’t wait to see him die next book. He held Violence back and didn’t try to help her grow but continued to call her weak. Ughh
Xaden’s nickname for Violet and then getting her violets every morning 🥹🥹 I just wish he had told her he was all in with her sooner and also what he was doing with the rebellion.
Overall this book was absolute perfection for me and I can’t wait for the sequel and also to read it all over again!
