I read one chapter at the beginning of the month, picked it back up two days ago, and finished it today. Plath really takes us into the mind of Esther and it feels like we're right there with her, she almost makes sense at some points, but you know she's unwell. That damn raw egg and beef drink she had. The exploration of sex and women was interesting. I really felt for the characters and I enjoy Plath's execution of dialogue. I also enjoy her similes and more flowery passages here and there. I really did like this book.
