This is the second book I’ve read by Hannah Bonham-Young, and I enjoyed this one start to finish. This book highlights the challenges of growing up in and navigating the foster care system, the trauma of adoption, complicated family dynamics, and the joy that can come with found family. It’s a beautiful story, and I was rooting for their happily ever afters from the start.
