I finished Day Boy a few days ago and still wrapping my head around it. This is a dystopian YA horror, and I hated the main character Mark. He’s annoying, whiny, and a child. Almost the point of the book right?
Dain is Mark’s Master. Here we are in post-apocalyptic Australia where the vampires rule and they have their servant Day Boys. Mark lives to do whatever Dain needs during the day, cleaning, errands, etc.
This book really starts out slow, reaches a crescendo, then everything comes crashing down hard. If you like horror and dystopian societies check this out!
