The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells

4.0

a sci-fi classic for a reason- wells truly makes you question our own morality and codes of ethics through the invisible man: would we also abandon all humanity if we knew we were anonymous? it’s especially interesting in the age of the internet, where we see an increase of violent language and cyber bullying perpetrated by faceless accounts, where anyone could be lurking behind the username. are we all like the invisible man? do we take advantage of anonymity for selfish reasons? can we remain civil and humane whilst also being unperceived?
