I kind of liked this book. It kept me company as I was trying to build a routine around my daily chores. I’m not entirely sure what to think about it overall, but I appreciated the way it suggested being a genius about the things that matter and lazy about the things that don’t.

Managing a home has turned out to be much harder than I imagined, it’s this endless cycle of everyday work that never really stops. That’s why books like this, which acknowledge and offer ideas for handling that reality, feel interesting sometimes.
