The level of Epic Spensa-ness in this novel… freaking amazing!! If anyone were to complain about her growth arc, they should read through this because her maturity and insight is near flawless. Plus M-Bot really shines here too! Doomslug already had my heart, but she got me a little choked up at one point. The end of chapter 3… PERFECTION! But also… the emotions I was left with at the end of the book really hit hard. Can’t wait for Defiant!
