Patriarchy of the Wage: Notes on Marx, Gender, and Feminism by Silvia Federici

4.0

Both informative and radicalizing, Federici lays out the detailed strategy of the creation of the (post-Industrial Revolution) nuclear, working class family and makes her case (again) for why reproductive labor should be compensated. There is a great discussion on where Marx fell in this line of thinking, and speculations on why he didn't include much about women in his works.
