The Host
by Stephenie Meyer
Surprisingly, I liked it a lot. I have no idea how it's possible that the same woman who wrote this, also wrote the Twilight saga? It is beyond me.
Hell, this book stirred a lot in me. It's been a journey, an emotional one with lots of self-doubting and such questions risen you wouldn't think to ask them until you start reading it. I loved that it awoke the undiscovered in me.
Also, even if that's clearly not the point, I have to say that personally I preferred Jared. He was just my kind of character by greater magnitude than Ian could ever be although I liked the latter a lot. I'm just wired that way. There is more of Mel in me than Wanda, I suppose. ;)
