Blockade Billy by Stephen King

4.0

Since baseball season is over and I am still riding the rush of the Cardnials winning the World series in one of the best seven game series I have ever seen, I decided I would give this a try. I was worried with Mr. King being such a Red Sox fan that I would hate this book. Well thankfully it is about a team that doesn’t exist.

This was a fun read and short for a King book. It is written from the point of view of an old coach telling the story about Blockade Billy to Mr. King. It was fun to read and very interesting. Not only did it take the reader back to the early days of baseball but it had a good twist ending. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun baseball read.
