The Reckoning by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir

4.0

It is the first book I read from Yrsa. As I understand is the least favorite from her fans. The story uses a lot of expositions, but in this book, it really did not bother me. The story is told from the perspective of the investigation so that it is impossible to not uses expositions. I like Huldar, with all his silliness. It is fresh to see a really everyday character, not the smarter man in the room to be one of the main characters in a crime story. I also love the dynamic between Freyja and Huldar, with many awkward scenes that raise a smile.
