Rafe
by Rebekah Weatherspoon
Just what I was in the mood for: light, low angst, and comforting, like a warm blanket on a rainy day! The characters actually communicated with one another and were up front and forthright, which I appreciated. Nice level of steam. Dual POVs from both the male and female leads (1st person, present tense), and the writing had a light, fun, causal style. It’s a pretty quick read, too. I nabbed this after seeing Rebekah Weatherspoon talk on a panel for romance authors presented by the New York Public Library — she kept cracking me up so I figured I should give her a read. I’m glad I did!
