the writing stood out to me because of how much i liked it. it wasn’t overly descriptive to where it loses my mind’s interest and yet didn’t lack in details either. the way the senses were introduced was satisfying and i wanted to appreciate that.

the plot starts out slow and you delve into london noble’s work as a psychiatrist. the details of the mental health conditions and human psyche was pretty interesting to read about though im not sure how accurately they were depicted. the plot’s build up is there but i’m not sure if it was worth it. i feel like the delivery was lacking in impact especially at the groundbreaking revelations.

i have to say though grayson’s character is fun to read about especially with how he plans shit to a tee and how it all falls into place.

overall, its enjoyable(ish) and i appreciated the details and thought the author put into it.
