The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer

4.0

I found this book while looking for unreliable narrators for an English teacher. It was too mature for her target audience, but just right for me to enjoy.
The first thing I noticed was the great mix of text/font styles and drawings. This enhanced the disjointed feeling of participating in the narrator's schizophrenic episodes and memories. The main character was sympathetic and the family's grief at the loss of their eldest son rang true.
This would be a great discussion book for all those reasons.
