Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow
by Yuval Noah Harari
An incredible follow up to Sapiens. The author takes a bold step in predicting the future of humanity, and how it can be influenced by data and algorithms. A couple of phrases that has stuck with me from the book: "Humans agree to give up meaning in exchange for power". The power he is referring to is not political... it is god-like. And, "what's more valuable - intelligence or consciousness?" This book is Fascinating. Yuval Harari' books are must haves for every home library.
