The Summer Wives by Beatriz Williams

4.0

Loved this, it was like a more literary beach read. While sometimes the reader was kept too much in the dark - I would have rather found out sooner what happened and dealt with the outcome a bit more fully at the end, which felt a little rushed - this was great. I may have done without Bianca’s perspective and let her story come out through Miranda, as Bianca was the only time change that really ever took me out of the story. I appreciated that this FELT like a book from the 1950s, with the pacing and the language.
