Dust Devil on a Quiet Street by Richard Bowes

4.0

Lovely, haunting, and disturbing all at once. Bowes blends real events and characters with things clearly representative of the real with truly supernatural occurrences to craft a book that's one part memoir and one part haunting. A vivid and well-written history of New York City with a dash of the weird to keep things interesting.
