I finished this book knowing I am going to come back to it again and again.
Listening to it in audiobook form may have been a bit confusing at fist but such an engaging and intimate experience at the same time. This is the kind of book that you are laughing one page and then crying at the end of the same one.
Krouse’s storytelling is compelling and quirky, it truly feels like she is right there talking to you.
This not-quite-a-memoir really is a reflection on aspects of life and I am sure that no matter how many times I read ir it will resonate with different parts of what life is throwing at me at the moment.
It is unfortunate to know the author passed away a few months after the book was published, but it is nice to see her live on through her books, and also (and you will get it if you read this) through her texts that I now have on my phone.
