2.5

This book was boring, but that was kind of the point. The characters investigate the mundane, and I definitely chuckled a few times at the subject of the investigations. But then, the investigations are kinda the back story to tangent upon tangent. This book feels like listening to my mom tell a story, which is endearing, but sometimes frustrating. It was a quick, easy read that didn't take too much brain power.

(On a scale of 1-5, Mark would have given this book a 2.5. He would have been annoyed by how short it was, but he would have enjoyed the subtleties.)
