So I put down this book once I hit a really emotional bit near the end bc I wasn’t ready for the ending and I didn’t pick it back up for like 2 weeks, but I finally finished it. The ending actually wasn’t as emotional as I thought it would be.
I really loved this book. I like reading books set in space and imagining what 0g would feel like and how I would move in it, but this book also made me think about 1g and how it feels like the most normal thing to me but to Leo and Libra and Orion it’s fighting against them all the time.
The shorthand and other unorthodox formatting in this book was interesting, and I didn’t hate it but I think I just had to focus more on each sentence and how it flowed.
Also can we talk about the hints of homosexuality??? Like seriously. There’s so much gay tension and no release at any point and the ending (no spoilers) really just sets up more tension like what are they gonna do??? Are they gonna be gay or what???? It just felt like the author was being a tease. Like just one nice kiss maybe please?
Anyways 5/5, would recommend, cool space children and fun new viewpoint.
