I thought the first book was amazing. This book just continued that for me!
I love how this book literally continued from the same day we left off at at the end of the first book and just continued the story. This story was filled with so much fraught and thrill and adventure.
There was so much that happened in this story that really truly tested everyone’s relationships and their own sanity really. I think these books really showed that you are stronger than you think you are, that you ARE capable of things you wouldn’t think you are capable of, and never let anyone tell you otherwise.
I loved the continuation of Brienna and Cartier’s story. I loved being able to read from Cartier’s point of view this time along with Brienna’s. I just wanted to know what was going on in his head, and this satisfied that want. These two have the ideal relationship that I think any would desire. I just find them adorable and thought this story had the perfect ending
