I loved so much of this but the ending felt really rushed - from when Stella started having children it was pretty much just lists of them and not much else. I also found the breakdown of her relationship with Tina heartbreaking and couldn't decide if we were meant to believe that Tina was controlling and unkind or Stella was deluded about this.

Overall a great book with wonderful female characters.
