📉 - this is how I felt about this book. First of all, it's basically a Beauty and the Beast retelling. But it feels very, fanfiction-y? It started off kind of nice and I was feeling it but around 70%? I felt like, ok we can move on to the big happy end right now.

Orpheus is a Duskwalker. A demon who's able to walk the earth during the day. Every ten years he protects a village in return for a 'bride'. During the story we find out misconceptions and shit about this arrangement.

Reia is a woman shunned by the entire village whos been offered to Orpheus. Low-key toxic in her behaviour towards Orph. Evenfurther in the book.. kind of a no for me

Near the end i started being more bothered by the spelling and grammar mistakes, and parts were very respetitive. Orpheus is a good bean tho I will die on that hill.

*be mindful that this is a monster romance 👌
