📚 Comic Synopsis
Something is killing the children. Horror vibes mix with the Goonies-style adventure as five friends set off to shoot a short film on a forbidden rock near their home the summer before they all go their separate ways But that's not really why they're there. One of them has lied. And that lie will change their lives forever.

📚My review
I saw the cover and was immediately interested in reading it. Let just say that I stumbled onto something magical and horrifying.  We are following a group of friends Chole, Wade, Lux, Katie, and Will. They all are looking for Chole missing brother whose be gone for a year.
They enter some rock formation near the beach and end up in a whole new world that is colorful, but something his off.
So far, my favorite character is Wade-- she is smart, intentional, and thoughtful.
When they meet that weird panda/ cat/ human, she knew how to interact & and communicate with this sentient being.

Even when that thingy gave them powers except none to Chole was leave me wondering what is wrong with the girl. Let's just say the cliffhanger at the end got me 👀👀👀👀🙊☠️.

📚Character development
●Chole-- something is off with Shorty.
●Katie-- love Chole, something heavy
●Lux - oh, she is all about getting 🍆-- cause heck, you may just die today
●Will-- will is the camera, man, so let hope he doesn't die. So far, he got nookie from Lux, too.

📚Illustration
The colors/blend, the definition, and the details of each character and environment were perfect.

Overall, I am invested in this story⭐️
